Dear Nepali Friends,

We are very pleased to inform you about the formation of Non-Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA) in China. The organization was started in June 2007 but since December 2007 it took its formal steps and is now growing and is currently headed across China. It is headed by President Mr. Sudhir Timilsina.

Non-Resident Nepali - National Coordination Council, China, is the national chapter of the Non-Resident Nepali living and working and people of Nepali origin (PNO) in the China. It is the common forum of Nepali citizen, PNO and well wishers of Nepal and strives to support the socio-economic development of Nepal. This is a charitable organization, not a political.

NRNA- China aims to contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) which is the global association Nepali diaspora. The NRNA China wishes to cooperate with other organizations established and operating in the China in supporting the socio-economic development of Nepal. We want to work towards providing information about Nepal, promoting Nepalese culture, identifying as well as managing development activities in Nepal. In addition, it also aims to extend possible support in protecting the interests of Nepali in the China.

NRN China Members have successfully participated in the Third Global Conference held in Oct. 2007 in Kathmandu, and has drawn a lot of attention in Nepal and across.
In order to being the Nepali living in China closer, we have started organization get together ceremonies during Nepali festivals like Dashain, New Year, etc.

NRNA China requests all Nepali living in China to come together, and to start with we would like to request all our dear friends to become the member of the organization, and help us expand and grow. We are on the process of making the constitution for NRNA China, and would like to receive your comments on the attached draft constitution as well.
